Bukowskis is pleased to present this spring's largest Fine Art auction, Important Spring Sale, which includes classic art, works of art, Asian works of art. and jewellery.

The highlights of classic Swedish art include Carl Fredrik Hill's painting 'The Tree and the River Bend', a unique painting representing the absolute culmination of Hill's spectacular production as a landscape painter in France. The masterpiece has an estimate of SEK 8,000,000 - 10,000,000 and is one of the auction's absolute highlights. Based on the fact that four versions of the motif have long been included in museum collections and the remarkable sales of the larger version of "The Tree and the River Bend", there is much to suggest that the current sale, very well, may be the last chance to acquire a true masterpiece from Carl Fredrik Hill's outstanding suite of broad views of the river Seine.
