Glaskonst

Bukowskis har nöjet att presentera en större samling glaskonst, där objekt av flertalet välkända glaskonstnärer ingår. Till de namnkunniga konstnärerna hör Bertil Vallien och Kjell Engman, medan större delen representeras av Claes Uvesten. Uvesten föddes i Linköping och utbildade sig vid Glasskolan i Orrefors och på Pilchuck School of Glass i Seattle. Uvesten har deltagit i 20-talet utställningar i Sverige, USA, Mexiko och England och har varit verksam som professor i Glass design på Museo de Vidrio i Mexico. I dag arbetar Claes i Stockholm. Han beskriver själv sitt skapande med orden "Central to my work is humanity, and most notably, the human head, the center of thought, reason, and creativity. A complete understanding of the architecture of the mind remains elusive. Science has yet to fully explain consciousness, and it is from this point of departure that my glass work takes form."
