Michele Di Menna

Michele Di Menna is a Canadian interdisciplinary artist who works with text, performance, sculpture and collage.
Michele Di Menna was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. She attended the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Vancouver and later attended Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende Künste Städelschule (2005-2010), in Frankfurt Germany.
Frieze.com has described Di Menna's artistic practice as "a persistently process-based approach (that) is self-referential."
A notable show was Geschmacksverstärker at Museum für Moderne Kunst (MMK) in Frankfurt/Main in 2010. Other noable shows were at Kunst- und Ausstellungshalle der Bundesrepublik Deutschland in Bonn and Institute of Contemporary Arts in London.
