Dekorerad med en fortlöpande lotusscroll i famille rosepaletten med xi symboler "dubbel lycka" mot en turkosgrön grund. Locket med samma dekor samt fladdermöss och svastikor. Botten med sigillmärke i guld mot en utsparad vit ruta. Insidan och botten turkosglaserad. Höjd med lock 10,5 cm. Diameter lockets bredaste del 8,8 cm.

The present cup with cover belongs to a group of turquoise-ground enamelled porcelain wares made to imitate cloisonné enamel, a fascination started by the Qianlong Emperor and continued in the Jiaqing period. Such wares may have been commissioned in sets, as related tea wares of different forms were known.
