SKULPTUR, sten. Kina, 1900-tal.

Med märke. Skuren i relief med landskap av luohans/lärda män i bergslandskap med grottor, byggnader och vindpinade tallar. Stenen i ljust grön ton med inneslutningar i brunt. Höjd 16,5 cm. Längd 17 cm.

Naturliga inneslutningar och schatteringar i stenen.

Utställningar

Motif with a luohans and scholars in a mountain grotto. The subject matter may have derived from a woodblock print on the theme, printed in the 18th century catalogue Gu yu tu pu (古玉圖譜), attributed to the Southern Song dynasty.
