Efter Wen Zhengming (1470-1559). Tusch och färg på papper. Kalligrafi samt tre målningar med två röda sigill, och en målning med ett rött sigill. Vardera 73,9 x 40 cm.
Wear, spots, some scratches. Minor defects. One scroll with horizontal 'stripes' going over the upper half of the painting. Full size including traditional silk-framing: 141 x 48,5 cm.

From the collection of John Wilson. Manager of the Textile Machinery Department in China of Victor Sasoons’ Empire, Mr John Wilson and Margit Bond, an employee of the Swedish Consulate, they got married September 1st 1949 in the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Shanghai. Thence by descent.
