Ongoing Consignments – Sell at Bukowskis For the Highest Price

In the spring of 2024, Bukowskis achieved 38 sales exceeding one million SEK and several new world records – by far the most on the Scandinavian auction market.

So far this year, we have sold art, antiques, works of art, design, watches, and jewellery at live auctions for a total of SEK 255 million. We also sold the most expensive artwork of the spring, painted by Francis Newton Souza. Other highlights of the spring included works by Anders Zorn, Carl Larsson, Helene Schjerfbeck, Tove Jansson, Nils Dardel, Alex Katz, David Hockney, and GAN. In the design and works of art categories, we have seen new records, including a world record for Josef Frank’s chest of drawers "Flora". Additionally, high final prices were achieved for a pair of corner cabinets by Gottlieb Iwersson, a chandelier by Carl Edberg, and a showcase cabinet with animal and plant illustrations by Josef Frank.

Where collections are sold – at Bukowskis, we have a long tradition of selling significant collections of art and antiques.
