‘The silver-plated bronze (‘In och ut’)(In and out), only 15 cm high, was originally entitled "Berget föder" ('The Mountain Gives Birth’). It is an odd piece that seems to anticipate the later international art movement, inspired by megalithic monuments such as Stonehenge or Carnac, or by our own dolmens and rock coffins. Art borrows magic from such ancient works. They shy away from definitive interpretations and remain enigmas.’ Rolf Söderberg, Sveriges Allmänna Konstförening, 1991, ‘Arne Jones’, p. 94
