A collector's home from Bergslagen

Bukowskis has been entrusted to sell a private collection from Bergslagen in Sweden. The collector, who was born in the 1930s in the Bergslagen, had a great and genuine interest in antiques, especially for tin objects, Swedish folk objects, tapestry paintings, antique keys and locks as well as faiance from the Baltic Sea area. He was an academic collector, which becomes clear when you look at the rich faience collection from the 18th-Century that contains rarities from both Rörstrand, Marieberg and not least Stralsund in Swedish Pomerania. The collection is possessed during five decades and also contains beautiful 18th-Century furniture, Swedish Dalahästar, cans, silver and drinkware.
