Modern Art & Design – Groundbreaking art and exceptional design

The leading auction for modern art and design in the Nordics is back with an outstanding lineup of groundbreaking art and internationally sought-after design. Top lots from the art department include modernist Otto G Carlsund's painting ’Tones Vibration’, an elegant composition from 1929 that feels as modern today as it did when it was executed nearly a century ago. Among the top works is also Nils von Dardel's theatrical painting ’The Staircase’, which has been included in several prominent exhibitions both in Sweden and internationally, as well as several significant works by Halmstadgruppen, such as ’Moonlight’ by Erik Olson and ’Farewell to Maimuna (sailor's song)’ and  ’Swedish sailor’ by Gösta Adrian-Nilsson (GAN).
