Currently, we are seeing a continued increase in demand for items from Firma Svenskt Tenn. For upcoming auctions, such as the recurring themed auction Josef Frank with Friends and Scandinavias leading live auction for modern art and design, Modern Art & Design, we are now seeking design objects and furniture by Estrid Ericson, Josef Frank, Björn Trägårdh, Anna Petrus, Tyra Lundgren, Uno Åhrén, and other prominent designers.
Interest in Svenskt Tenn and its designers has increased significantly in recent years. In 2024, Bukowskis sold several exceptional items, including a magnificent cabinet by Josef Frank from the 1940s, which sold for a record price of nearly 2.6 million SEK, making it the most expensive design piece sold at auction in Sweden that year. The "Flora" chest of drawers by Josef Frank also sold for 1.2 million SEK, setting a new world record. Previous editions of the recurring Josef Frank with Friends auction have also achieved great success and high final prices over the years.
