Arvid Mauritz Lindström, and his wife Countess Helene von Götz, lived with their children in Ängelsberg between 1889 and 1913. He had Villa Hvilan built, which was designed by the renowned architect Isak Gustaf Clason. Eventually, he also had the current Systerbo constructed. Lindström is one of Sweden's most famous landscape painters and a close friend of Carl Larsson.
