A painter's chair belonging to famous Swedish artist Bruno Liljefors.
An oak folding chair wit canvas seat. Seat height 39, width 49, height 78 cm.
A certain wear due to age and use, also with marks and stains. Some dry cracks. The seat with loose seams/damages to the underside.
Tore Ljungberg, 1907-2004. Raised in Kaggbol outside Österbybruk, Sweden. In his youth, Tore became a friend and jack-of-all-trades to Bruno Liljefors during the latter part of the artist's life. Tore had a great interest in local history, building preservation, art, and antiques. The chair was a gift from the artist to Tore during the time they spent together.
