"It would take another two years before Bra bohag AB launched Alf Svensson and Yngvar Sandström's Form 8, perhaps the most talked-about Swedish plastic armchair of the 1970s. But even before the turn of the decade, the designer couple could present a high-backed armchair with a plastic shell.
Tellus graced the cover of the trade magazine Möbelvärlden's third issue in 1969. But the model was not a success and the following year the factory's CEO Göte Öhrskog concluded: "probably we were too early with visible plastic".
