Dasha Shishkin paints and uses graphic methods to create her artworks. Her landscapes are filled with animals and naked women and men. The scenes are often bizarre or erotically charged. Shishkin conjures up life-like yet abstract worlds where it is hard to discern who is who. The figures are in perpetual movement, hovering and floating along in front of and behind each other.
Dasha Shishkin lives and works in New York.
