Oak, two-part cabinet. Lower section with two drawers, writing flap with intarsia decoration of Venus, behind which are compartments and drawers with integrated lighting. Upper section with glass doors. The cabinet's width 116 cm, depth 60 cm (97.5 cm with the flap down), height 208 cm. The chair's height 78 cm, seat height 48 cm.

The present set of furniture was highlighted at the Crafts Exhibition in Uppsala in 1921, and is mentioned in the January issue of the Swedish Society of Crafts and Design's journal the following year: "In its simple and reliable form, the furniture constitutes a noteworthy example of the industry's efforts to apply modern principles within the realm of functional design."
The workshops of J. E. Blomqvist in Storvreta would later successfully participate in exhibitions in Gothenburg 1923, Paris 1925, Stockholm 1930, and London 1931.
