Private Collection of Asian Ceramics and Carpets
The collection is a study collection assembled by a Swedish Art Connoisseur. Initially working at SIDA (Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency), he later pursued a lengthy career with the United Nations. His assignments spanned nearly 30 years, taking him to Sweden, Iran, India, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, and New York. Throughout these years, the academic collector amassed his extensive collection. He dedicated his free time to attending auctions, lectures, seminars, museums, and workshops focused on his interests, and spent weekends visiting antique dealers, fairs, and viewings.
