These watches were initially identified as black diled Zenith chronographs with Excelsior Park movements. Collectors observed that most of these watches originated from Belgrade, Zagreb, and other former Yugoslavian states.
Further research revealed that these Excelsior Park powered Zeniths were ordered in a batch of 2,000 pieces on 20 January 1954. Some collectors suggested that these watches were issued to the Yugoslavian Air Force.
