A Louis XV rosewood marquetry 'table à écrire' in the manner of the Spindler brothers, mid 18th century.
The rectangular top with polychrome inlay of flowers within a rocaille border above a writing top and frieze drawer, on acanthus-holstered cabriole legs terminating in brass castors. Length 62, width 52, height 76 cm. Key included.
Veneer damage, repairs, and buckles. Faded. Mounts partly associated. Top with drying crack. Renovated.
