In one way or another, everyone has a relationship with James Bond - Agent 007, regardless of which generation they belong to. Ian Fleming is the author behind these fantastic books about the extraordinary agent who hunts villains worldwide in the service of Queen Elizabeth II. The first time we get acquainted with James Bond is in the book "Casino Royale," published in England in 1953. A few years later, in 1955, the book was published in a Swedish translation. The first film adaptation of "Casino Royale" was made several years after the book was published. It is also the only book that has been filmed in two different versions, in 1967 and 2006. "Dr No" is the very first James Bond film, starring Sean Connery, which premiered in England in 1962 and Sweden the following year, 1963.
The theme auction is a private collection gathered over many years. It includes posters from all the film titles from "Dr. No" (1962) to "Spectre" (2015). The collection's core consists of various Swedish film posters printed for premieres in Sweden, but the selection also includes a few French, Italian, and Belgian posters. Several of the posters are very rare.
