Recently bound in a vellum manuscript leaf (Low Countries, 14th century), covers a little warped (convex). First and final leaf slightly finger-soiled and outer edge a little worn, early annotations in ink on front fly-leaf and on first page (listing deaths, in German) and occasionally in the text. Internally very fine.
Reprint, with only the year altered in the colophon, from the edition of 1484.
The Formularium was an ecclesiastical legal formulary in Latin, a useful and therefore popular compendium containing sample document forms for canon law, including wills, excommunications, indulgences etc. Several editions appeared.
