First title printed in red & black. With a few woodcuts in text: unicorns and their horns (col. 1:955-958), pelican (col. 2:275) and a shark (col. 2:746).
Contemporary vellum, somewhat soiled and slightly worn, tear to first flyleaf, inscription crossed our on the second, endleaves creased, a few marginal dampstains. Ownership inscription on title of Johan Oelreich (1653-1700), a priest in Scania in the south of Sweden with a doctorate from Wittenberg (1675).
A work about all the animals which are mentioned in the Bible, with several indices. Originally appeared in London in 1663, this is the (?)third edition.
