Contemporary full vellum, worn and stained, spine defective, endleaves worn and fragile from dampness. Faint corner waterstain throughout, hardly noticeable except in the beginning, text slightly foxed, old underlinings in ink. Neat ownership inscription on title, ”Mich. Richey 1718”.

Important collection of 3 medieval Byzantine chronicles documenting the Crusades and the Ottoman Empire. Greek texts with Latin translation by the Zurich teacher Conrad Clauser.
