From an imaginative world of images, Miro reached in 1924 an almost abstract painting, a pictorial writing with figural characters in rhythmic figurations. He worked mainly with symbols and associations from the subconscious. They are played out in bold contrasts in pure and saturated colors, where the black has a great significance. In the early 30s, playfulness culminates, while the color gets a bigger and power and excitement. Miró's graphic production is large and impressive, where he has worked with both lithography and etching. Demand for Miró's prints is very strong today. We perform free valuations. Contact us today!
