Hugo Grygkar was the most prolific designer for Hermès in the early post-WWII years. He produced over 100 designs from the year he joined the house of Hermès in 1946 to his death in 1959. Many of his designs continue to be re-issued by Hermès well into the early 21st century. Grygkar was inspired by a wide range of sources for his work, including historic prints and caricatures. One of his specificity is that he never signed his work!
