Bukowskis is pleased to present a selection of works by the concretist artist Sven Axel Hansson. Hansson worked in a geometric non-figurative style with horizontals and verticals as prominent elements. In the late 1940s, he studied at Gerleborgsskolan and in the beginning of the 1950s he worked for André Lhote in Paris. At the end of the decade, Hansson completed his studies at Valand Academy in Gothenburg. Hansson exhibited on several occasions together with other well-known concretists, like Bengt Orup, and his work is represented in various places around the country.
