Inger Estham

INGER ESTHAM
Textile expert Inger Estham held a Ph. Lic. in art history, was awarded an honorary doctorate in theology by Uppsala University and trained at the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design, Konstfack, in Stockholm. She was head of department and manager of the textiles unit at the Swedish National Heritage Board and Sweden’s National Historical Museums, specialising in church textiles from the medieval period to the twentieth century. Inger Estham was born in Stockholm, and was well travelled, with roots in Kullabygden in southern Sweden and in Norway. The auction includes furniture, lamps, applied art, jewellery, silver, art works, books, gold coins and watches. Names include Wiwen Nilsson, W.A. Bolin, Josef Frank, Carl Malmsten, Bruno Mathsson, Olle Hjortzberg, Nils Kölare, Barbro Nilsson AB and many more.
