This themed auction offers a unique selection of items from various sports and eras. From signed jerseys, jackets, and rackets to Olympic publications, printed materials, historic tickets, and rare photographs capturing memorable achievements, iconic sporting moments, or distinguished athletes.
The auction also includes a collection of items that belonged to ice hockey legend Nils Molander. He was one of two renowned Swedes who played ice hockey in Europe before World War I. He primarily played for Berliner SC, where he often took on the role of a Rover – a position that, according to the German setup, was akin to a libero. He subsequently represented Sweden in most major tournaments, including the 1924 Olympics in Chamonix. Among numerous accolades, Molander was also the first player to be awarded Swedish ice hockey's prestigious Stora Grabbars märke.
Nils Molander was a versatile athlete and also competed in speed skating, representing Denmark in the 1914 European Championships. He also participated in sailing competitions.
