Of the more than 1,200 items that will be for sale at the upcoming beverage auction, Champagne accounts for more than 300 lots, thereby confirming the region and category as the largest in this circumstance. The category is dominated by prestige and vintage champagnes from reputable years such as 1996, 2002 and 2006. All three years are currently in a fine drinking phase. The other grand category is Bordeaux, which together with Champagne accounts for almost half of the lots in the auction. Here we seen an increase in whole, unbroken boxes from 21st century vintages from years such as 2005, 2009 and 2010. These are yet to be sotred for future enjoyable experiences. On the distillery side, you will find fine cognac, an interesting mix of single malt and blended whiskey in rare vintages.
Auction: 11–13 november
