When Henrik Conrad Bolin died, the company was passed on to his son Wilhelm, who was internationally educated in Paris, London and Amsterdam. His business expanded rapidly and he brought French artists such as Auguste Moreau into the workshop in Moscow and opened offices in Paris, London and Berlin. After 1917 offices were also opened in Oslo and Copenhagen.
