Executed in Paris in 1902. The model was carved in 1904 in a gray or blue-green savonite stone from Norway of approximately the same size (Millesgården M181) (Köper, op. cit., under 1904 "A la belle Etoile". Limestone example. In the artist's house", pictured p. 67).
