A bed cover, double-interlocked tapestry, ca 197,5-201,5 x 122-125 cm, Scania 1825, Villands district, Sweden.
Signed and dated EAD 1825. Two parts sewn together. The field with four rows of polychrome octogons, stylized trees of life, birds and flowers A zigzag patterned border with stylized birds and flowers.
A faint smell of smoke. Little wear and dirt, minor stains. The edge at the sides have some wear.

Woven 1825 by Elna Andersdotter (born 1802); inherited in the family. The whole history exists.
