Signed and dated EAD 1825. Two parts sewn together. The field with four rows of polychrome octogons, stylized trees of life, birds and flowers A zigzag patterned border with stylized birds and flowers.
A faint smell of smoke. Little wear and dirt, minor stains. The edge at the sides have some wear.
Woven 1825 by Elna Andersdotter (born 1802); inherited in the family. The whole history exists.
According to the owner exhibited both in Vienna and at the Baltic exhibition in Malmö in 1914.
