Born 1981 in Luleå, studied in Prof. Tobias Rehberger's class at HfBK Städelschule in Frankfurt, now lives and works in Stockholm. Bomans paintings and sculptures find themselves somewhere in between the figurative and abstract. Recurring shapes and motifs are presented using a wide range of techniques, famously all at once, be it spray paint, solvents, masking, spaghetti, oil paint or welded metal parts. Boman has developed a truly unique style, which is as visually generous as it is abundant in references. He partook in the Modernautställningen at Moderna Museet in 2018 and has shown with Johan Berggren Gallery in Malmö and Gether Contemporary in Copenhagen.
