A CARRIAGE CUSHION, tapestry weave, "Kungahjorten", ca 50 x 104,5 cm, Scania (Sweden),
last quarter of the 18th century - around 1800. Probably Torna district. A green ground with a polychrome stylized pattern of three wreaths with a crowned red hart (deer) and flowers. The wreaths are surrounded by winglike ornaments as well as flowers. The yellow border is sewn to the back. (Rare).
Some wear, minor stains and damages.
