Lacquered in nearly black, palisander borders, the upper doors with inlays of different coloured woods, white metal inlays and handles. The interior with red lacquer. Height 150,5 cm, width 90 cm, depth 43 cm. Key included.
The top surface is dry and with stains. Minor veneer losses. Internal light is not checked.
Sten Blomberg was an interior designer, a son of David Blomberg. He started working with his father's interior design company David Blomberg AB, 1932-42, after that he had his own interior design business in Gothenburg between 1942-45. Subsequently he was employed by several furniture companies and eventually specialized in ship- and hospital furnishings.
