Barbro Littmarck, b. 1918 d. 2008, was W.A. Bolin's chief designer from the start of her employment in 1941, until the mid 80's. Some of her best known work include the bishop's crosier and processional cross for Uppsala Cathedral, and work for several other churches around Sweden. Her work often contained a subtle humour, an amusing and quite appealing touch. For a number of years, she made small yellow gold woven basket brooches with ruby and sapphire flowers and enamel leaves. The 57 different basket brooches she made were all unique. Barbro Littmarck is represented at the Stockholm National Museum and at the Goldsmith's Hall in London.
