The transparent, grey-toned stone is well carved as a reclining horse with its head turned backwards towards the tail. Lenght 9 cm, height 6,5 cm.

Aquired at Bukowskis, lot no 562:1358 in 2011. From the Collection of Oscar and Inge Oxholm. Oscar Oxholm was the Danish Envoye in Beijing and Shanghai 1932-39. The collection was mainly formed by his wife Inge and was written about in an article in the Berlingske Tidende in 1938. Several of the objects are depicted in the image.
