CARPET. Antique Caucasus, probably Lenkoran. 296 x 158 cm.

A dark blue ground with three large polychrome tiger pelt resembling ornaments, geometrical shapes and stylized flowers. An ivory main border with flower patterns.

The dark brown coloured wool is corroded. Some partly hard wear, slightly dirty, stains among which some are stiff, minor fold wear, repairs. The sides have fold wear and damages, the ends have a few rows of knots missing.
