A stripe patterned ground in ivory and different nuances of brown with leaf festoons as well as a polychrome medallion, corner ornaments and palmette festoons. A wedge patterned main border in blue and red with polychrome flowers. Signed MOHAMMAD SEIRAFIAN. Silk warps. Approximately 1,3 million knots per square meter.
Insignificantly dirty, one small hole, insignificant mothdamages. The sides have insignificant fold wear.
The carpet was bought directly from Mohammad Seirafian in Esfahan in 1997.
