possibly, a 1920's bergère, Gemla, Sweden.
Black lacquered wooden frame, secondary upholstery in yellow velvet plush.
Senare klädsel, visst slitage.
Reportedly acquired by Herman Björkman, hence by descent.
Björkman is said to have acquired the armchair at the 1923 Gothenburg Exhibition. It is said that it originally was upholstered in a black silk fabric wowen with golden dragons.
