Alkuperä - Provenienssi

From the Collection of Astrid Setterwall Ångström (1895 - 1982) and Tord Ångström (1892-1978). Astrid Setterwall Ångström was the daughter of Nils Setterwall, who founded Nils Setterwalls Advokatbyrå in Stockholm 1878. She was a Swedish Artist and Writer, who published amongst other works a book about the Swedish Sculptur Carl Milles. She graduated from The Academy of Art in Stockholm. Her husband Tord Ångström, was the son of Knut Ångström (1857-1910), professor at Uppsala University and grandson of Anders Ångström (1814-1874), professor at Uppsala University, whom both gave name to the famous Ångström laboratory at Uppsala. Tord graduated from KTH, was a licensed pilot and became the manager of the Swedish Aviation Safety Authority in the Civil Aviation Authority. He came too travel the world to as an expert for ICAO and to contribute to the improvement of Air Safety. The piece was acquired in India. Thence by descent.
