A blue and white dragon-dish, Qing dynasty, Guangxu six-character mark and of the period.

The Shallow dish brightly painted on the interior with two writhing scaly five-clawed dragons each in pursuit of a flaming pearl amid fire scrolls and cloud scrolls, the center medallion with a flower surrounded by layers of waves, the exterior simile painted with two five-clawed dragons each in pursuit of a flaming pearl. Diameter 15,9 cm.

Minor chips to rim, minor firing defects.

The collection is a study collection, accumulated during a lifetime. The collector operated within the field of oriental works of art. The collection is mainly acquired in Sweden and London.
