A large blue and white vase, China, presumably Republic, 20th Century, with Wanli six character mark.

The ovoid body encircled by a Ming-style band of scrolling lotus above a composite floral scroll, all between raised double fillets, the lower body with a broad wave band above a border of pendent lappets on the flared foot. The waisted neck with a wide band of stylized upright leafes below a wave border at the flared rim. The body applied to either side with a pair of moulded taotie-mask and ring handles. Height 40,5 cm.
