Alkuperä - Provenienssi
The service was commissioned for the wedding of Grand Duke Alexander Nikolaevich (1818-1881, emperor from 1855) to the daughter of Herzog Louis of Hessen, Maximilana Augusta Sophia Maria (1824-1880), chistened Maria Alexandrovna. The wedding was held April 16th 1841. This is an addition to the service.
