Inger Persson was a Swedish ceramicist. She studied at Konstfack in Stockholm from 1955 to 1959. The director of the Rörstrand factory saw and was impressed by her graduation exhibition and offered Persson a job at Rörstrand. Inger Persson designed several popular tea and dinnerware sets, such as Pop, which became one of the factory's bestsellers at that time. In 1971, Inger Persson left Rörstrand; she started her own studio while also beginning to teach. This was something she enjoyed so much that she stayed for 25 years. In 1982, Inger Persson re-established contact with the Rörstrand factory and continued to work for them until 1994.
