A Chinese export blue and white small tureen with cover and stand, Qingdynasty, Qianlong (1736-95).
Octagonal shape. Sculpted handles and a finial in the shape of a pinecone. Decorated with landscapes and gilding. Height 13, length of the stand 20.5 cm.
Stand with crack to the centre. The tureen has a starshaped hairline crack to the interior. Wear.
