Duodji – Sámi Works of Art

Duodji is Sami handicraft and art, which constitutes an important part of Sami culture. It is a craft tradition over a hundred years old that is based on natural materials and high-quality craftsmanship.

In this themed auction, you will find a large collection of knives, primarily made in the 1970s and 1980s by, among others, Roland Andersson, Wilhelm Eriksson, and Per Sunna. Another exciting item is a large so-called burl bowl signed G.N, as well as a wolf spear by Wilhelm Eriksson. The decoration and design of both the knives and the handicrafts in this auction are exquisite examples of Sami design, with its characteristic patterns and colours.

Welcome to explore these cultural treasures and place bids on your favourites.
