Gables of black painted cast iron, seat of green painted wooden planks. Length 101.5, dept 41, height 55 cm.
Renovated, added to with new screws and repainted. Insignificant wear.
SAAB-ANA, Nyköping, Sweden (the bench stood with other pieces of Bensow park furniture in the surroundings of the company facilities).
Private collection (the bench was given as a gift to the current owner, employed by the company, when SAAB-ANA did away with the furniture).
The model was exhibited at the Paris World Fair in 1925 outside the Swedish pavillion.
Folke Bensow was a Swedish architect and designer. From 1915 to 1930, he ran his own architectural firm in Stockholm and also worked as a furniture designer for, among others, Näfveqvarn.
