Chased and engraved trompe l'oeil work.
A basket-patterned set consisting of a bottle in frosted glass held in a silver basket secured by a rope from which eight charka cups hang from their handles. The bottle has a glass stopper under a tightly drawn foil-imitating silver cover.
The bottle is stuck in the basket-imitating container, stamped at the bottom with the Cyrillic master mark PED and assay master mark, silver mark 84. The total height of the bottle 22 cm, the square bottom of the basket measures 8.5x8.5 cm.
Six cups with gilt interior by the same master as the bottle, marked in Cyrillic PD, square base 3.5x3.5 cm, height excluding handle about 3 cm.
Two of the cups are slightly different, by different masters, marked with the St. Petersburg mark from 1882-1899, measurements 3.3x3.3 cm, height 2.8 cm and 3x3 cm, height 2.5 cm. All stamped 84 with the St. Petersburg city mark.
The total weight of the cups is 274 g.
The neck of the flask with a significant, old repair. The smallest cup has an engraved monogram. The others in good condition.
