A themed auction to honour the Swedish ceramics legend Lisa Larson (1931–2024), who passed away in early March this year. Explore unique and rare sculptures and wall plaques, as well as sought-after series pieces from collections such as “ABC Girls,” “Africa,” “Traffic,” and “Social Debate.” There is also a bronze sculpture, “Teenage Girl,” in a limited edition from the Galleri Scandia series launched in 1978.
When Lisa Larson started at Gustavsberg in 1954, she was expected to stay for one year with the task of creating "bestsellers." It turned into 26 years of significant sales success, and her many charming ceramic figures have become some of the most beloved by people in both Sweden and Japan.
Lisa Larson left the Gustavsberg factory in 1980 and founded Keramikstudion in 1992 together with her colleagues Franco Nicolosi and Siv Solin. In Gustavsberg's harbour, the beloved figures are still produced today, in the place where it all began 70 years ago.
Welcome to be inspired and bid on beautiful sculptures and items from one of Sweden's most beloved designers.
